Denni Sulzberger completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts (Visual Art) at the University of Tasmania, Launceston, in 2013, focusing on textile design, local history, ornamental pattern and functionality’s place within art. A love of theatre has driven her to become involved in a number of theatre projects, including set design, writing and music composition. Second Story Youth Theatre Abroad’s Chasing a Sound like Rain began an interest in music’s ability to enhance a theatre experience, and the role of youth theatre companies in a small city. She has also played ‘cello for over a decade, from musical theatre orchestras, to contemporary bands, classical orchestras, and tutoring. Denni is currently part way through a Bachelor of Environmental Design (Furniture Design) in Launceston, with the aim of combining all her loves into one practice.
